Configuration >>> allows you to change the SSID, Wireless Mode, Channel, Transmit (Tx) Rate, and Power Mode.

The settings below are the typical settings for connecting to HotSpotzz.

The SSID must read HotSpotzz.

The Wireless Mode has two options: Infrastructure and Ad-Hoc. HotSpotzz uses the Infrastructure mode.

The Channel should always be set to 1.

The Transmit (Tx) Rate can be set to Auto for WLAN PC Cards that support higher speeds (802.11g) or can be set to 11 (the maximum transmit rate for 802.11b).

The Power Mode is used to conserve the Laptop's battery. If the laptop is plugged into a power source then Continuous Access Mode is the recommended setting. If the user is concerned about saving battery power, change the Power Mode to either Power Save or Maximum Power Save.

To save any changes, click Apply and the AirPlus Xtreme Utility will disconnect from the network (if connected) and reconnect.
